Mowgli

Mowgli is a private center in Igualada that supports students with a project that spans from the first year to 16 years old, including the Llar d'Infants, early childhood education, and primary education. The center presents itself as "a school like a home" and under the motto "a school that grows with you," boasting a history of 65 years, 241 students, 174 families, and 30 professionals.

In the Llar d'Infants, care for welcome is prioritized: familiarization is progressive and personalized, families can enter the classrooms, and daily activities are based on play and experimentation, respecting each child's pace. Flexible hours are offered, with adaptable entry and exit times, and service available from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. In early childhood education (I3–I5), group and classroom activities are combined with the organization of different educational spaces that allow learning according to interests, fostering autonomy, curiosity, and well-being. In I3, it is not necessary for children to have left diapers, and those who need it can take a nap during that course. English is present from day one through an integrated oral exposure in a playful manner in Jungle Gym (psychomotricity).

The center has its own kitchen, with balanced and adapted menus prepared by the cook and a nutritionist, using local foods. It has specialized professionals (psychologist, speech therapist, caregiver, and special education teacher) who regularly enter the classroom to observe, advise, and support students, teachers, and families, along with a stable teaching team. Learning is complemented with outings and excursions outside the center. The center's website offers a monthly menu, communication platform with families, image gallery, and calendar.
