C.P. Pío XII

CEIP Pío XII is a public center in Huesca that offers Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Special Education.

Among its curricular areas are Music, Physical Education, Religion, French, and English. Additionally, it has a school library.

In Early Childhood, sessions of psychomotricity are developed with action and adventure spaces such as Imaginarios País Maravilloso, Circo Fabuloso, Misión Imposible, Divertelas, and Magic Cuerdas.

In Primary, the teaching units include popular and traditional games and dances, swimming, cooperative games, aquatic challenges, colpbol, lifeguarding, and twincon. Some of these activities take place in the Almériz pool.

It is a day in which all students of the center participate, with stations of traditional games such as hoyetes, la rana, alpargatas throwing, sack races, bowling, and French games like le beret, le facteur, and la marelle. The day culminates with a tug of war between the classes that finish the stage.

The center promotes family involvement through open house days in Physical Education and psychomotricity, and maintains a blog as a communication channel.
