C.P.I.F.P. Montearagón

C.P.I.F.P. Montearagón is a public integrated Vocational Training center located in Huesca, operating since 1968. It offers Vocational Training at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, organized into four professional families: Agriculture, Socio-Cultural Services and Community, Mechanical Manufacturing, and Transport and Vehicle Maintenance.

Its training cycle offerings include, in the Agriculture family, the advanced degrees in Forest Management and Natural Environment, Landscaping and Rural Environment, and Livestock and Animal Health Assistance; the intermediate degrees in Agricultural Production, Gardening and Floristry, and Utilization and Conservation of the Natural Environment; and the basic degree in Forest Utilization. In Socio-Cultural Services and Community, it offers advanced degrees in Early Childhood Education and Social Integration and the intermediate degree in Care for people in situations of dependency. In Mechanical Manufacturing, it provides the intermediate degree in Welding and Boiler Making and the basic degree in Manufacturing and Assembly, and in Transport and Vehicle Maintenance, the intermediate degree in Electromechanics of Machinery.

As a public integrated Vocational Training center, it carries out training actions for employment aimed at qualifying and requalifying both employed and unemployed individuals within its related sectors. It has Erasmus programs, POCTEFA-Pyrempfor Go, dual vocational training, bilingualism, applied innovation projects, and evaluation and accreditation of professional competencies, as well as a job placement service and collaboration with companies. It has student accommodation and an agricultural-livestock operation. Its ideology revolves around rural development and sustainability, comprehensive, integrative, and individualized education, professionalism and career development, social and environmental responsibility, and innovation and creativity. The center restricts the use of mobile phones and electronic devices throughout the school day, including during class periods, breaks, and extracurricular activities.
