Escola Bressol Municipal Tortuga

Escola Bressol Municipal Tortuga is a public early childhood education center for the first cycle (0-3 years) in Granollers. As a municipal nursery school, it supports children and their families during this stage. The center has nearby bus and train stops.

Among its initiatives, the center has created 'Les maletes que acompanyen', a suitcase lending service with proposals, materials, and ideas to share with family. Each suitcase includes a sheet with the material and a suggested use, and it is requested to take care of the material so it can continue to be used. The school also addresses Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), focusing on early detection and joint intervention between professionals, family, and school, and emphasizes the acceptance of diversity.

In its daily activities, the school conducts a painting workshop, where children experiment with colors, strokes, and tools, and construction activities with pieces that promote spatial awareness, balance, weight, measurement, and shape. It also celebrates Carnival with care and respecting each child's wishes, within a process of identity that the center values.
