Alhamar

Alhamar, Escuela de Turismo y Empresa, is a semi-private school located in the center of Granada. It offers official vocational training cycles at the Intermediate and Higher levels. At the Intermediate level, it offers cycles in Administrative Management and Commercial Activities. At the Higher level, it provides training in Administration and Finance, Management of Tourist Accommodations, and Tourist Guidance, Information, and Assistance.

The center proposes a practical methodology oriented towards the reality of the sector, with faculty who work as active professionals. Students undertake internships in companies from the first year, and the center maintains agreements with collaborating companies that allow them to apply what they have learned in real environments. Upon completion, those who complete an Intermediate cycle obtain an official qualification that enables them to enter the labor market or continue higher studies.

Alhamar has an active job placement service, complemented by a network of collaborating companies that publish job offers directed at its students. The center offers guidance and support to define professional goals and improve skills, and extends the support of its job placement service to alumni. It also has the Plan Amigo, which provides access to a discount on tuition for recommending the center to others.
