Sapo Sapito

Sapo Sapito is a private preschool located in Getafe. It is authorized by the Community of Madrid, which means it complies with current legislation; this authorization allows families to apply for early childhood education scholarships and deduct part of the center's expenses on their tax returns. The school provides support in carrying out these procedures. It offers Early Childhood Education in its two cycles, from 0 to 3 years and from 3 to 6 years.

The educational project is primarily based on Montessori pedagogy, complemented by Pikler pedagogy, and takes current legislation, including LOMLOE, as a reference. The center works to promote independent thinking, self-control, self-management, and self-esteem, fostering autonomy and emotional management through respectful support. Sensitive periods are attended to, and the rhythms, interests, and choices of each child are respected. The classrooms feature neutral and calm environments designed for children, with educational materials and freedom of movement. The emotional bond is the core of the project: each classroom has a reference tutor who shares daily individual moments with the babies, and initially, no predetermined schedules are imposed, but rather they are gradually adjusted to the children's rhythms. Significant and experiential learning is prioritized over worksheets, with safe and non-toxic materials, mainly made of wood or metal, and outings to the environment are also organized.

The center is defined as a small school, which facilitates the knowledge of all the children and families and the creation of strong bonds. It has three classrooms (nursery classroom, mini children's community, and children's community), a multipurpose classroom, and an outdoor patio with a plant corner. Among the services and facilities are the computer room, dining room, school transport, and extracurricular activities, with Spanish as the language.
