Mariana Pineda

CEIP Mariana Pineda is a public school in Getafe that offers Early Childhood and Primary Education, the latter divided into three cycles: 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, and 5th and 6th. The school has Early Childhood education for the first cycle (0-3 years) and the second cycle (3-6 years), and the instruction is conducted in Spanish. In terms of services, it has a school cafeteria with its own menu, rules, prices, schedules, and circulars for families, as well as extracurricular activities and a school library. The school has a School Council and AMPA.

Among its institutional documents are the Educational Project of the Center, the Coexistence Plan, the Tutorial Action Plan, the Inclusion Plan, the Cafeteria Project, the Digital Plan of the center, a TEA Project, and other documents. The school identifies as a preferred TEA center. Its organization includes various working committees: library, playgrounds, and delegate assembly, ICT, press, garden, and center project.

Each year, the school develops a common project: "Little Geniuses of the Future" (25-26), "Marianita Around the World" (24-25), "A School with a Lot of Art" (23-24), "Healthy Life" (22-23), "40 Years Ago" (21-22), "Once Upon a Time" (20-21), and "Tell Me a Story" (19-20). It also has sections dedicated to English, Halloween celebrations, a language immersion day, La reli in the Pineda, the LÓVA Project, and Diversity, with the celebration of Diversity Week. The school is located in Getafe, with bus stops and a metro station (El Casar) nearby.
