Denenes

CEI Denenes is a private preschool located in Getafe, exclusively dedicated to children from 3 months to 3 years old. Students are organized into three classrooms according to their age group: Pink Class (3-12 months), Blue Class (1-2 years), and Orange Class (2-3 years), allowing for individualized attention in a small and welcoming environment, avoiding the insecurity that large spaces and crowds can create for the little ones.

The educational project is based on three areas of knowledge: self-awareness and personal autonomy, knowledge of the environment, and language, communication, and representation. It is taught daily using the methodology of learning through play and in a bilingual manner in Spanish and English, taking advantage of the learning and imitation capabilities typical of these ages. In each age group, specific contents and habits are worked on: sensory stimulation, songs, sounds, stories, and rest in the baby classroom; fine motor skills, development of taste and smell, and initial habits of autonomy, hygiene, and nutrition between 1 and 2 years; and mathematical logic, first steps in literacy, and toilet training between 2 and 3 years.

Among the elements of the project are music, psychomotricity, art through paintings, excursions — such as a visit to a farm school — workshops (for body coordination through music and dance, sensory workshops, coexistence and socialization workshops, and experimental ones like the ecological mini garden and gardening workshop), carnival, and English. The center has its own kitchen and daily homemade menu, flexible hours to facilitate family reconciliation, and a security system that allows access via fingerprint and viewing of classrooms through web cameras, in addition to video cameras in the classroom. It offers dining services, school transportation, early risers, extended hours, and extracurricular activities, and works closely and familiarly with families.
