Arcoiris

Arcoiris Nursery School is a center located in Getafe that caters to children aged 0 to 3 years. Its project is based on various active pedagogies and is founded on the idea of allowing the child to be and to be, growing at their own pace and directing their own learning. The center aims for students to feel loved and respected, so they can build their autonomy, knowledge, experiences, and their own personality. It defines the school as a place that promotes harmony, serenity, well-being, brightness, and joy.

The spaces are conceived as a third educator: they are safe, welcoming, meaningful, kind, and aesthetic, and are in constant evolution to respond to the needs and interests of the children. They include several classrooms, a hall, a kitchen, indoor and outdoor patios, a sensory cube, and parking for strollers. In these spaces, work is done with natural, recyclable, and unstructured materials that invite investigation, experimentation, and free play.

The team, composed of educators, accompanies children and families with respect, working collaboratively and committed to the principles of respect towards children and families, valuing diversity and individual differences.
