Escola Juan Salamero

Escola Juan Salamero is a public school in Gavà. It provides early childhood education, with the first cycle (0-3) and second cycle (3-6), and primary education (6-12). It has a school cafeteria service, a family association (AFA), and a family school.

Among its projects, the center implements the Responsible Digitalization Plan, which includes the prohibition of mobile phones and smartwatches in compulsory educational stages, the distribution of laptops to students in 5th and 6th grade, and training for teachers in digital technologies and artificial intelligence, as well as support resources for families. The center has developed a project to transform the playground, based on proposals from early childhood education students, and has created a Book of Mother Tongues with the collaboration of families. Students participate in the Sambori contest and engage in cultural outings, such as visiting the Colònia Güell and the Gaudí Crypt by the middle and upper cycles. At the end of the stage, 6th-grade students celebrate their graduation.
