Pececitos Santa Teresa

Pececitos Santa Teresa is a preschool in Colmenar Viejo that caters to children aged 0 to 3 years. It organizes its classrooms by age: from 0 to 1 year, from 1 to 2 years, and from 2 to 3 years, in spaces designed to foster creativity and curiosity. Its educational project is based on play, curiosity, and creativity as learning tools, aiming for each child to develop holistically at their own pace. The methodology is active, with a holistic and child-centered approach, meaningful learning, playful activities, socialization and coexistence, and attention to diversity.

The school includes English from the early years, a parent school as a space for guidance and support, its own kitchen with healthy menus adapted to children's tastes, and vacation camps. Throughout the year, it organizes seasonal workshops, such as Thanksgiving activities and the Christmas party. Its facilities feature safe spaces, natural light, EPA filters, underfloor heating, a psychomotricity classroom, and webcams for families.

The team is made up of professionals with the qualifications required by the Community of Madrid and receives additional training in first aid and innovative educational methodologies. The center has authorization from the Community of Madrid, keeps enrollment open throughout the year, and offers families the possibility to apply for financial aid from the Community of Madrid. It also has a digital agenda and access for authorized families to the webcams.
