La Casita Verde

La Casita Verde is a private preschool in Colmenar Viejo authorized by the Community of Madrid for children aged 0 to 3 years. It has over 30 years of experience, and its educational model is approved by the Community of Madrid. It offers families the possibility of accessing financial aid from the Community of Madrid (CAM Scholarships).

The center has modern facilities focused on the safety of children, with a large, sunny outdoor playground that includes specific areas for each class, a sand zone, trees, a cabin, and children's games. The cafeteria service prepares meals daily in its own kitchen, with homemade recipes using fresh ingredients and health guarantees coordinated with a pediatrician. Additionally, a weekly pediatric check-up is conducted, and personal psychopedagogical advice is offered to families to detect possible learning difficulties and guide them on the measures to take. Music initiation classes, piano, and classical guitar are also taught to students of any age by a graduate from the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid.

Its hours are from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, from early September to late July. It accompanies children to the nearby Colegio Fuente Santa, maintaining the same schedule, and cares for them throughout the day during Christmas, Easter, and other non-school days. It assists in the adaptation period, facilitates the completion of school tasks, and responds quickly if a child needs a change of clothes or feels unwell during their stay at school.
