Colegio Peñalvento

Colegio Peñalvento is a mixed and semi-private center in Colmenar Viejo, promoted by the Educare Group and established in the 2007-2008 academic year. Its purpose is to develop students' intellectual abilities alongside human and spiritual values through quality processes and personalized attention. It is part of the Educare Group schools.

It offers early childhood education (first and second cycle), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Among its services are cafeteria, school transport, extended hours, extracurricular activities, psychopedagogical office, and nursing. The project is bilingual, with Spanish and English, and includes internationalization and training of students in an international context. The center has a cafeteria with rotating menus and publishes nutritional information and guidelines about dinners.

Its educational project combines in-person, online, and virtual education with the use of new technologies, and includes initiatives such as the One to One project, cooperative learning, debate and oratory, and Habilmind. It is supported by Christian humanism to form free and responsible individuals and maintains a commitment to sustainability through the use of clean and renewable energy, as well as promoting healthy habits through sports and nutritional education. It organizes summer camps from NIDO to ESO. In the 2026 PAU call, 100% of students passed, with an average university access score of 7.78.
