El Hada Traga Manzanas

La Casa de Niños El Hada Tragamanzanas is a public Early Childhood Education center located in Collado Villalba. It is owned by the Town Hall of Collado Villalba and managed through an agreement with the Community of Madrid via the company Calidad Educativa YOAL. The educational staff is hired by the managing company, except for the director, who is a civil servant teacher of the Community of Madrid.

The center provides education for the First Cycle of Early Childhood Education, for children aged 1 to 3 years. Its Educational Project is based on a pedagogy of listening, respect, and love, considering the child as an active subject of their learning and accompanying families in this process. Additionally, an introduction to the English language is offered.

The educational project defines a school that contributes to the integral development of children in physical, intellectual, affective, emotional, and social aspects. It is characterized by being an open school to the environment, integrating cultures, supportive, affectionate, tolerant, inclusive, respectful, cooperative, and active, based on direct experimentation. Among its goals are to organize a stimulating environment, adapt the center's rhythm to the needs of the children, create a climate of safety and trust, promote a positive self-image, and compensate for inequalities. It also promotes the participation of the educational community and the relationship with surrounding institutions.
