Escola Bressol Municipal El Coral

The Escola Bressol Municipal El Coral is a municipal educational center, dependent on the City Council of Castellar del Vallès, with shared management with Suara Cooperativa. It serves children from four months to three years and their families, and is defined as a space for relationships and the establishment of emotional bonds between children, families, the educational team, and the municipality. Its project is developed in a family-friendly and welcoming environment, with spaces and materials rich in possibilities that allow the child to be the protagonist of their own development.

According to the current ratio set by the Departament d'Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya, the center organizes its classrooms into a group of four months to one year, a group of one to two years, and two groups of two to three years. The team is made up of management, classroom tutors, support educators, and a kitchen assistant, and also receives guidance from a psychopedagogue for the educational team and families. The center prioritizes cooperative work, leveraging individual backgrounds to give cohesion to the collective educational project, and has a team with experience and a willingness to innovate.

The educational team ensures that the school is an open space, without discrimination, where the child is the most important, needs are met, a holistic education is offered, and a good relationship with the team and good communication with families are maintained.
