Escola Joan De Margarit

Escola Joan de Margarit is a public educational center located in La Bisbal d'Empordà. It offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, the latter organized into initial cycle, middle cycle, and upper cycle. Among the specialties of the center are English, attention to diversity, artistic education, and physical education. Regarding languages, the school works with Catalan, Spanish, and English.

The center develops various projects and activities throughout the year, such as the reading mentorship, inter-level workshops in different cycles, environments in Early Childhood Education, the LECXIT program, the library, the Ruta magazine, activities on Radio Bisbal, school swimming, and the Sigues tu project, along with initiatives around family and school. In the environmental area, it has the Escola Verda program, a garden, a socio-environmental committee, and a fruit consumption plan. It also participates in pedagogical innovation programs such as GEP, the FBO project, and the Xarxa de Competències Bàsiques.

The school provides a dining service and morning care, as well as extracurricular activities, and has the participation of the AFA.
