Escola Collaso I Gil

Escola Collaso i Gil is a public educational center that provides early childhood and primary education in the Raval neighborhood, in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. The vehicular languages of the center are Spanish and Catalan. The school is organized into small, medium, and large groups, and has a website with sections dedicated to the school, the groups, families, the teaching team, services, and the secretary, where information about the pre-registration and enrollment process is also published.

Among its services, the center has a school cafeteria, for which families can apply for assistance. The parents' association (AFA) participates in the management of the center's services. The school uses various educational digital tools and platforms from the Generalitat de Catalunya, such as XTEC, Edu365, Digital, Nus, Alexandria, ARC, Merlí, jClic, Linkat, Odissea, Àgora, Sinapsi, Dossier, and Entra.

Throughout the school year, the center carries out outings and activities, such as a visit to the Barcelona Zoo, participation in Rodajoc, and the celebration of Carnestoltes, as well as a solidarity market and the sale of roses for Sant Jordi. The school has an Instagram account where it shares compilations of its activities.
