Institut Milà I Fontanals

Institut Milà i Fontanals is a public secondary education center in Barcelona, located in the Ciutat Vella district. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), with Catalan and Spanish as the languages of use. Among its services are the school cafeteria and extracurricular activities, and the center has a parents' association (AMPA).

The educational project of the institute is structured around several axes: educational guidance and tutorial action, a digital strategy for the center, a communication project, and project-based work. In the area of internationalization, it participates in Erasmus+ and eTwinning programs and develops lines of work to promote foreign languages. It also includes educational actions such as PMOE-PROA+.

The center has its own facilities, including the Milaway room, used as a meeting point and for presenting the course to students. Throughout the year, meetings with families and individual interviews are organized, involving the management, tutors, and co-tutors of each group. The institute also publishes information about the school calendar, schedules, and the secretary's office, and offers a range of extracurricular activities with registration.
