Nuestra Señora De Fátima

The CDP Nuestra Señora de Fátima is a bilingual semi-private school in the city of Almería that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. It is part of the Centro de Estudios Arcángel y Fátima, along with CDP El Arcángel, which brings together both educational centers in Almería. Its offerings include the first and second cycles of Early Childhood Education, as well as the Primary stage, with Spanish and English as the working languages.

In Early Childhood Education, the center places the student at the center of their learning and works with an active methodology based on discovery and play as an experience. It seeks to ensure that students feel welcomed and valued in their diversity, and pays attention to emotional development, language development through games and songs, and the development of gross and fine motor skills through physical and manipulative activities. Communication between the school and families is open and collaborative.

In Primary Education, the teaching team is organized by specialties and develops projects such as bilingualism, the peace space school program, healthy lifestyle habits, and cooperative learning. The pedagogical approach places the student as the protagonist of the educational process and promotes respect, responsibility, and solidarity through sports and cultural programs and activities. The center has an Educational Project and documents such as the Annual Center Plan, the Guidance and Tutorial Action Plan, and the Organization and Functioning Regulation.

Among its services are the school cafeteria, transportation, morning classroom, extended hours, and extracurricular activities. The morning classroom operates from Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 hours, from the first day of class in September until the last school day of the course.
