Centro Ibn Gabirol Colegio Estrella Toledano

The Centro Ibn Gabirol - Colegio Estrella Toledano is a semi-private school located in Alcobendas, in the Community of Madrid. It is defined as the only Jewish school in Spain and serves students from Early Childhood first cycle (0-3) to Baccalaureate (16-18). It offers the stages of Early Childhood second cycle (3-6), Primary (6-12), Secondary Education (12-16), and Baccalaureate (16-18), and provides the International Baccalaureate.

Its educational project combines a general studies curriculum with projects that integrate the values and traditions of Judaism into daily academic life, promoting a lasting relationship with the language, culture, and land of Israel. The methodology is open and flexible, placing the student as the protagonist of their own progress, respecting and fostering their level of maturity, which translates into personalized education. The goal is for students to prepare for university access and graduate with skills for lifelong learning and leadership, developing strong personalities and responsible citizens capable of navigating a changing world.

The center has a teaching staff described as committed and enthusiastic, with high qualifications, who adapt the content and methodologies to the needs of each group. It offers cafeteria services, school transportation, and extracurricular activities, and has a library and sports facilities. In terms of languages, Spanish, English, French, German, and Japanese are taught. It organizes exchanges with schools from other countries and complementary activities such as school radio, parent school, reading plan, entrepreneurship workshops, programs on the Holocaust, English immersion, and participation in European Programming Week. In the promotions from 2013 to 2017, all students passed the PAU with an average grade of 7.73.
