San Pedro Apostol

San Pedro Apóstol Nursery School is a semi-private center in Alcobendas (Madrid) that provides Early Childhood Education in its two cycles: the first, for ages 0 to 3, and the second, for ages 3 to 6, with Spanish as the language of instruction. Its own educational project is based on active learning for students and is framed within the Early Childhood Education curriculum.

The center advocates for an active and experiential methodology that respects the rhythms and individual needs of each child. The senses are the main pathway for discovery through experimentation and manipulation, and play is positioned as the central axis of learning, promoting autonomy, creativity, and socialization. Its activities and workshops aim for exploration, experimentation, and the development of imagination. The project addresses the cognitive, psychomotor, emotional, and social development of students in a family-oriented, inclusive, and affectionate environment, responding to a diverse educational community with students from different backgrounds and varied socioeconomic and cultural levels. Collaboration with families is considered a fundamental pillar, with close and constant communication, and the teaching staff receives continuous training.

Among its services are the mandatory cafeteria and extended hours from 8:00 to 9:00 and from 16:00 to 17:30, including breakfasts, snacks, and school supplies. The center has bus and metro stops nearby.
