Mi Casita

La Escuela Infantil Mi Casita is a privately owned center with locations in Alcalá de Henares and Pozuelo de Alarcón, in the Community of Madrid. It provides the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years) and organizes its educational project around play, free movement, and experimentation as ways of learning. The center describes its proposal as a sensory project that respects the learning pace and style of each child, supported by active, participatory, and experiential pedagogies.

The methodology is concretized in the design of spaces and the selection of materials intended for children to investigate and discover autonomously. Play is presented as the axis of learning, with play installations, artistic proposals, unstructured materials, and resources such as light and shadows, as well as stories, fabrics, boxes, music, and dance. Movement, with an approach to neuromotor stimulation and free movement, is worked on as a motor of learning and as a way for children to know their own bodies and trust in their possibilities.

Among the services offered are a cafeteria, school transport, early riser service, and extended hours, in addition to extracurricular activities, an outdoor playground, outings and excursions, a psychopedagogical office, a digital agenda, webcams, a parents' school, and aids and discounts. The center also has a program for the relationship between the school and families.
