La Gran Familia

La Gran Familia is a private preschool located in Alcalá de Henares. It offers the stages of Early Childhood Education for the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years), with Spanish and English as languages. It provides services such as meals, school transport, and extracurricular activities. Its opening hours are from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM from Monday to Friday; in August, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve, the hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it remains closed only on national and local holidays in Alcalá de Henares. It does not charge for extra hours.

The center is authorized by the Ministry of Education, allowing families to apply for scholarships from the Community of Madrid and ensuring that the facilities comply with regulations and that the teaching staff is qualified. It has an access system using individual proximity keys and a facial recognition device that measures adults' temperatures, so only authorized persons can enter, and no adult with a fever can access. All classrooms are equipped with high-resolution cameras with night vision so that families can see their children at all times.

The school has a collaboration agreement with Colegio San Gabriel, whereby students obtain 3 points of free disposition to increase their chances of accessing that school, and they can enjoy extracurricular swimming classes at the sports facilities of San Gabriel with benefits and discounts; families can also use those facilities under the same conditions as San Gabriel families. Additionally, it has an agreement with the Kids & Us academy, where native teachers provide English classes during the school day. The center has over 20 years of experience in the care and education of children, with results recognized by schools in Alcalá de Henares. It has classrooms such as the Aula del Cielo, for babies aged 4 to 7 months, where attention is individualized and personalized for each student, and the Aula de la Playa, for children aged 28 to 32 months, with antibacterial, shock-resistant, and fireproof floors. Visits require an appointment.
