Iplacea

CEIP Iplacea is a public educational center in the Community of Madrid located in the southern area of Alcalá de Henares, in the municipal District IV, next to the Henares River. It offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle), Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education. Since the 2006-2007 school year, it has been part of the bilingualism program of the Community of Madrid, with Spanish and English as working languages.

The center has a school cafeteria, with a menu available for families, an early morning service, and extracurricular activities, as well as a library, sports facilities, and a virtual classroom for students. It has an AMPA and a School Council as channels for participation from the educational community.

Among its projects, the promotion of reading and the school library stand out, with the management of its funds planned through the internet, and ABN mathematics. The center develops a Digital Center Plan and an Annual Report, which collects the results of surveys conducted at the end of the school year, and participates in the creation of school short films. Its educational project seeks a comprehensive and balanced education between intellectual and personal development, to attend to each student according to their developmental rhythms and abilities, a climate of relationships based on respect and solidarity, the social integration of students, and the participation of all sectors involved in their education.
