Antonio Mingote

CEIP Antonio Mingote is a public center for Early Childhood Education and Primary Education located in Alcalá de Henares. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education, with Spanish as the vehicular language and English present through its bilingual project, implemented at the center in 2015.

The center is defined as a Preferred Center for the attention to students with special educational needs arising from autism spectrum disorder (ASD), for which it has the Aula Sonrisas. Among its projects are the iPad Project, based on the implementation of the device in a one-to-one modality; the center's digital project, which includes Digicraft; active methodologies; school mediation; a workshop for gifted students; a school garden, and the Erasmus+ and eTwinning programs. The center also has a school council and publishes institutional documents, organizational and operational rules, evaluation criteria and instruments, and results of external tests, as well as its own digital magazine and a virtual tour of the facilities.

Regarding services, it offers a school cafeteria with a monthly menu, morning classroom under the name First of the School, school nursing, complementary activities, and extracurricular activities organized by the AMPA. It also provides information to families about schedules, school calendar, textbooks, scholarships, admission, enrollment, and the ACCEDE program.
