Ceip San Gabriel

CEIP San Gabriel is a public school for early childhood and primary education located in the Alicante neighborhood of San Gabriel, in the municipality of Alicante. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and the Primary stage (6-12 years).

The center has its own school radio, RADI SAN GABRIEL, launched with the participation of all students, from Early Childhood Education to sixth grade of Primary. To give it identity, a competition was held among students to design its logo, which will be part of the project's materials and channels.

Among its initiatives, the cultural week stands out, which in one of its editions was titled "Look, create, care: a journey among animals". The proposal aims to awaken in students an attentive, sensitive, and respectful gaze towards animals and to foster individual and group creativity through works from different eras, styles, and cultures, through interdisciplinary educational experiences where art dialogues with history, literature, natural sciences, geography, and emotional education. The works are exhibited to families in the multipurpose rooms of Early Childhood and Primary.

The school also develops an intergenerational project from the music area, in which it has received a visit from the Agrupación Musicoral CMM Sant Blai, with the aim of creating bonds between generations and preserving the music of traditional folklore. The center also participates in meetings of schools in Valencian and has digital platforms such as Web Família, Aules, and Office 365 for communication with families.
