Escola Les Savines

Escola Les Savines is a public center in Cervera that offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle, ages 3 to 6) and Primary Education (ages 6 to 12). Students are organized into three communities: Petits, Mitjans, and Grans. The center is near the Cervera bus station and has local transport services.

The center applies cooperative learning practices and a global restorative approach, and has a specific space to provide visibility and facilitate the application of both methodologies. It participates in the Global Restorative Approach Educational Innovation Program, having hosted the second edition of its meeting, and takes part in the Segarra Experience Exchange Show, where it presents its projects.

Among the activities it develops are the school garden, whose products are sold to families; cultural outings and workshops; road safety activities; celebrations like Carnestoltes; musical projects with participation in the conservatory; the COM-VIURE project; swimming classes at municipal pools; the winter festival; and the SAVINTED entrepreneurship project, a fair for exchanging clothes, books, and school materials managed by the students, with a second edition and a subsequent resale of leftover products. It also conducts learning camps, such as the one in Flix, and visits to museums and heritage elements in Cervera. The center has the support of a family association (AFA) and has an educational environment plan (PEE).
