Institut Josep Vallverdú

Institut Josep Vallverdú is a public educational center located in Les Borges Blanques. It provides compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP). In the field of vocational training, it offers intermediate training cycles in care for people in situations of dependency, administrative management, electrical and automatic installations, and olive oil and wine, as well as higher training cycles in administration and finance and in electrotechnical and automated systems. It also offers a training and insertion program (PFI) in maintenance and repair of personal mobility vehicles. The center has a school transport service, library, and mediation, and has spaces such as the project-based learning classroom (aulABP), the playground, and the main entrance.

Among its projects and plans are the center's educational project, the annual general programming, the annual report, the organizational and operational rules, the educational commitment letter, the coexistence project, the center's linguistic project (PLC), the center's digital strategy, and the EVA regulations. The center participates in the multilingual generation program (GEP) and in Erasmus+. Its teaching structure is organized into didactic departments by areas: artistic and physical education, scientific, linguistic (Catalan, Spanish, and classical languages), foreign languages, mathematical, guidance and diversity, social, and technological.
