Escola Pompeu Fabra

Escola Pompeu Fabra is a public educational center located in Barcelona, in the district of Sant Andreu. It offers early childhood education in its two cycles (0-3 and 3-6 years), and primary education (6-12 years). The vehicular languages are Spanish, Catalan, and English. The center defines itself with the motto 'L'esforç ens fa grans'.

The center offers school dining services (espai migdia), extracurricular activities, and has a family association (AFA). Additionally, it organizes open house days and has a virtual tour. Throughout the school year, the different groups present to families the projects carried out in the classroom, an initiative that serves to work on oral expression and linguistic skills in a meaningful context.

The school develops various educational projects. In the scientific field, students participate in the Science Congress, where they share research such as plant growth, and in the 'Petits Talents Científics' congress at CosmoCaixa, with themes like water. They also visit the Lab of the Universitat de Manresa, a space for freely chosen science. In the artistic field, the youngest recreate works by artists like Yayoi Kusama and transform spaces in the center into a museum. In music, they participate in the Cantània, a project that includes teacher training, rehearsals, and a final performance at the Auditori alongside other schools. Furthermore, second-grade students participate in 'Dansa Ara' at the Palau Sant Jordi, a joint activity of music and physical education. The center also organizes outings and camps, such as those held in La Molina (Cerdanya), which combine sports, history, and coexistence.
