Escola Octavio Paz

Escola Octavio Paz is a public school located in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona. It provides early childhood education in its two cycles (0-3 and 3-6), primary education, ESO, and high school, and its activities are conducted in Spanish and Catalan. Students are organized into communities of small, medium, and large groups.

Its pedagogical approach incorporates differentiated learning spaces, such as environments in early childhood education, competency spaces in primary education, learning boxes, and language laboratories. The center structures its proposal around its own projects: a research project that is renewed each year, the assembly and the children's council, and a digital strategy for the center. Additionally, it participates in the Xarxa de Competències Bàsiques and the Generació plurilingüe program, and maintains an exchange between Catalunya and Mexico, as well as a team cohesion project. It is part of the Fòrum Futurs de l'Educació and has a program for social integration technicians and social educators, along with a commitment to the 2030 agenda.

The center has its own facilities and equipment and offers midday service with menus. Families participate through the AFA and meeting spaces such as coffee with families and other joint activities.
