Ies Cabo De La Huerta

IES Cabo de la Huerta is a public secondary school located in the municipality of Alicante, in the Playa-Vistahermosa district. It offers Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) for students aged 12 to 16 years.

The center engages in significant international activities. It holds Erasmus+ accreditation, of which the 2025-2026 academic year was its third year, and has been recognized with the eTwinning School Label. In this context, it organizes mobilities and exchanges with other countries: 3rd-year ESO students have participated in a language immersion program in Broadstairs, in Kent (England); it maintains an exchange project with Prague focused on sustainability, which included students' stay in the Czech Republic and the subsequent hosting of Czech students and teachers in Alicante; and it celebrates an International Week during which it has welcomed students and teachers from Berlin, Cologne, and Prague. The center also publishes the criteria for selecting students eligible for Erasmus+ mobilities.

Information about the center is disseminated in Catalan and Spanish and includes notices directed at families, such as the initial meeting for 1st-year ESO, the calendar for recovery tests for pending subjects, and the special schedule due to high temperatures.
