Ceip Torrefiel

CEIP Torrefiel is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in the Torrefiel neighborhood, in the Rascanya district of Valencia. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education (6-12 years), following the Spanish curriculum. The center has an AFA (Association of Families of Students) that provides support to families and manages extracurricular activities.

In terms of services, the center offers morning and afternoon care, afternoons in September, and extracurricular activities for the 2026/27 school year. The AFA provides information about these activities and has a family support schedule on Tuesdays. Additionally, the center publishes the school calendar with vacation periods.

CEIP Torrefiel participates in the Educational Innovation and Inclusion Project (PIIE) of the Conselleria de Educación, focused on the development of inclusive playgrounds. These playgrounds are organized into differentiated areas (quiet, motor, sports, and creative) for both early childhood and primary education, promoting cooperative and inclusive games, such as giant parachutes, hopscotch, target games, or constructions with recycled materials. Innovative playgrounds with open unstructured materials and large-format cooperative games are also incorporated. In the first cycle of Primary Education (1st and 2nd grades), quarterly projects, literacy activities, outings, and excursions, such as the visit "The trees of our city" through the Torrefiel neighborhood, are carried out.
