Ceip Profesor Santiago Grisolia

Ceip Profesor Santiago Grisolia is a public school located in the Algirós district of València. It offers Early Childhood Education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years), and Primary Education (6-12 years). It operates in Spanish, Valencian, and English and has a library, sports hall, computer room, gym, and cafeteria, in addition to morning care and extracurricular activities.

Its educational project is defined as that of an inclusive and multilingual school, open to the neighborhood. The teaching proposal seeks the integral development of students, adapting to the educational needs of each child, and places motivation as the driving force of educational intervention. The center promotes cooperative values, respect, and coexistence, and develops projects around new technologies, emotional education, environmental care, and the promotion of reading.

Among the complementary activities, it participates in coexistence and safety improvement projects in collaboration with state security forces, aimed at addressing bullying, risks associated with new technologies, gender violence, sexual discrimination, and road safety education. Since the 2006-2007 school year, it has participated in the Trobada d'Escoles en Valencià in the city, with a different workshop each year, and in the Trobada Musical, with a performance at the Palau de la Música. It also participates in the Proyecto Sambori, a literary contest in Valencian, and develops the project 'Conoce la biblioteca', with reading promotion activities for all educational levels. Its offerings are completed by a sports project, which includes swimming sessions at the municipal pool of Ayora, and a school garden project.
