Colegio Arula

Colegio Árula is a semi-private, bilingual, and cooperative center located in Alalpardo, in the municipality of Valdeolmos-Alalpardo. Its educational offer ranges from early childhood education, with care from 4 months, to Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and also includes vocational training (FP) in intermediate and higher levels. Regarding languages, the center works with Spanish, English, and German, and offers services such as meals, school transport, and extracurricular activities. It also has a leisure and free time school, as well as a parents' association and a virtual secretary for information and management with families.

The educational project of the center is based on a series of values: integral education, understood as the development of cognitive, social, physical, and emotional competencies; attention to diversity, with an inclusive and individualized approach; active teaching, where the student is the protagonist of their learning; social commitment and coexistence; education in freedom, which promotes respect for differences and autonomy in learning; and training in the scientific method. Among its distinctive projects are an internationalization program with stays abroad through exchanges, the Ingenium Project for curricular enrichment through research, the ABN method for learning mathematics, and a public speaking program that ranges from early childhood with "Exprésate" to secondary education with "Debate".

In the field of vocational training (FP), the center offers the Higher Technician in Early Childhood Education, aimed at working in early childhood care, nursery schools, farm schools, and playrooms, and the Higher Technician in Teaching and Socio-sport Animation, which utilizes the school's facilities. The offer is completed by the Intermediate Degree in Technician in Microcomputer Systems and Networks, within the field of Computer Science and Communications; the Intermediate Degree in Technician in Administrative Management, in the field of Administration and Management, both in private, in-person, and evening modalities; and the Intermediate Degree in Technician in Guiding in the Natural Environment and Leisure, aimed at tourism, leisure, and outdoor adventure and sports activities.
