Escola Ferreries

Escola Ferreries is a public center in Tortosa with over 50 years of educational experience. Its project is summarized in the motto 'Aprenem amb el cor' (We learn with the heart). It offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle, from 3 to 6 years) and Primary Education (from 6 to 12 years). The center conducts its activities in Catalan, Spanish, and English, and promotes language learning with activities in Catalan and English. It has a dining service with a published menu and features a school garden, in addition to being recognized as Escola Verda. The school has a Parents' Association and organizes open house days for families.

The center participates in projects such as Erasmus+ KA122, which includes student mobility and teacher training, as well as visits from educators from other countries. It is also part of the Código Escuela 4.0 program, which incorporates technological resources for computational thinking, programming, and educational robotics from Early Childhood to 6th grade. It develops the Magnet Project in partnership with the Hospital de Tortosa Verge de la Cinta, using scientific, social, and health knowledge as the axis of learning. It applies inclusive and globalized methodologies, with learning spaces, workshops, and corners, and participates in activities such as Cantània, Fira Faig, and the 'Compartim Aprenentatges' fair. Additionally, it organizes events such as Carnival and the Christmas Concert, featuring songs in Catalan and English.
