C.R.A. Ribera del Cinca

The C.R.A. Ribera del Cinca is a public educational center that groups several localities: Miralsot, Torrente de Cinca, and Velilla de Cinca. It offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle) and Primary Education. The center is organized with a Faculty, a School Council, and a Management Team, and has a secretariat, from where procedures such as textbooks are managed. Among the documentation published are official documents, minimum curricular requirements, and school times, in addition to a contingency plan and online resources for students.

Throughout the school year, the center develops various activities. Gender perspective equality workshops have been organized, where the role of women in the history of art has been addressed, in collaboration with an illustrator. Students have also participated in initiatives against gender violence, such as reading a manifesto at the Town Hall of Torrente de Cinca. Other activities include making Christmas cookies in Velilla de Cinca, holiday greetings for San Antonio from Primary students and the Early Childhood school, and the use of digital resources such as a tablet in Early Childhood classrooms. In Miralsot, a research project on local history has been promoted, preparing an exhibition of ancient objects and collaborating with the neighborhood through shared tutoring framed within the Guidance and Tutorial Action Plan.
