Escola Tarragona

Escola Tarragona is a public school located in Tarragona that offers Early Childhood and Primary Education. It has a cafeteria and reception service, as well as a family association (AFA). The center publishes a blog with articles about its activities and a school calendar.

Throughout the school year, the center develops projects and activities in which families participate. Among them, the Peer Tutoring program stands out, which included an acro-sport activity for students in 3rd and 5th grade at its conclusion, and the PCMat program, where students designed and built mazes applying mathematical strategies and programming with the Codey Rockie robot. Families collaborate in workshops on trades in the 4-year-old classes, in experiments, and in talks, such as the one dedicated to dental care. Outings to environments such as a farm, Pratdip, Montblanc, Can Foix, or an animal shelter are also organized, as well as coexistence days for Early Childhood Education. Additionally, students have participated in talks about human evolution and prehistory and about the legends of Tarragona, the latter within the framework of the Pla d'Entorn.
