Institut D'auro

Institut D'auro is a public secondary school in Santpedor that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Teaching is conducted in Catalan, Spanish, and English.

The school participates in the Erasmus+ program, welcoming students from other countries and engaging in activities related to Catalan traditions, city visits, and inclusion workshops. It also organizes language immersion stays in France. Throughout the year, various outings and projects take place, such as visits to the Cosmocaixa museum with workshops on electricity, attending history sessions as part of the History of Spain subject, participating in the radio debate program El Busca-raons, and literary contests, as well as reading activities in the school library. Bachillerato students conduct research projects in collaboration with the municipal library and present scientific projects, such as the CanSat project, before university panels. Additionally, the school participates in the Fem Òpera project, with performances at the Kursaal in Manresa, and holds graduation ceremonies for students completing their second year of Bachillerato.

In the digital realm, the institute utilizes tools such as Classroom, Moodle, Àmbits, IEduca, and TPV. It also provides families with information about textbooks for each course, options for purchasing them new or reused, and available municipal school aids.
