Llar D'infants Ginesta

La Llar d'Infants Ginesta is a public center in Sant Feliu de Llobregat dedicated to the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years). It presents itself as a small school that shares day-to-day life with families, understood as an adventure of coexistence, learning, and growth in relationships.

The educational project is based on the idea that each child is a competent being, capable of thinking, observing, participating, deciding, rejecting, proposing, establishing emotional bonds, and relating in diverse ways. Play is the means through which children experience new situations, practice attitudes and social skills, and gradually build their learning. Daily life acts as the axis of these experiences, in which they relate, learn about others, and learn about themselves.

The educational team supports each child in their freedom in situations where they must choose and resolve conflicts, stimulating positive attitudes and providing as individualized attention as possible. They also attend to their basic needs, organize play proposals, and share emotions, accepting and valuing their needs and initiatives. The educational task is approached with affection and respect, placing the highest expectations on each student, trusting in their abilities, and transmitting values such as autonomy, responsibility, sincerity, self-esteem, and friendship. Families participate in the school and share with the team in the education of their children in a space of participation and exchange that is built year after year.
