Institut Pau Vila

Institut Pau Vila is a public center in Sabadell that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) (ages 12-16) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16-18), in both daytime and evening modalities, and includes the Batxibac program. The working languages are Spanish and Catalan.

The center has Clickedu and Tokapp, has its own digital strategy, a teacher area, and a space for digital links within its educational project. It also has AFA. Within the framework of Erasmus+, the teaching staff has undergone training in Malta and Istanbul (Turkey), the latter focusing on digital tools for collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. The second-year ESO students participated in an Erasmus+ exchange with the Italian school IC Casteller focused on sustainability and cultural coexistence, and two students have participated in an exchange in Kappeln (Germany).

Throughout the school year, camps and educational outings are organized, such as those for third-year ESO in Núria and second-year ESO in Tamarit, the first-year ESO outing to Montcau and the Simanya caves, a fossil workshop at the Institut Català de Paleontologia Miquel Crusafont, a visit to CosmoCaixa, and outings for the fourth-year ESO Entrepreneurship students to companies and the Centre de Promoció Empresarial de Sabadell. Students participate in the Cangur tests and the Fem Matemàtiques contest, and the center celebrates activities for Sant Jordi. The mediator students from second and fourth-year ESO have participated in an anti-bullying activity organized by the Sabadell City Council. The center publishes information about textbooks, enrollment, the start of the school year, and assistance for students with family residence in Catalonia.
