Escola Jaume Vicens I Vives

Escola Jaume Vicens i Vives is a public center for early childhood and primary education located in Roses. It offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, the latter organized into initial cycle, middle cycle, and upper cycle. Catalan and Spanish are part of its teaching activities.

The center employs digital tools to support learning, including Moodle EIX and Google Classroom. Throughout the school year, it organizes celebrations and community activities, such as the castanyada, the singing of Christmas carols, and a solidarity chocolate event whose proceeds go to the TV3 Marathon. Students participate in outings and activities outside the classroom: visits to the Farinera de Castelló d'Empúries to learn about bread making, visits to the Roses Town Hall, talks about the tiger mosquito, and participation in the educational day SOMPARCC at the Ciutadella de Roses, as well as stays at summer camps in the upper cycle. The school has the support of the AMPA in organizing activities.
