Escola Sant Agustí - ZER Ebre

Escola Sant Agustí is a public school located in Riba-roja d'Ebre, integrated into the ZER Ebre along with Escola 1 d'Abril de La Palma d'Ebre. It provides early childhood education (first cycle, from 0 to 3 years, and second cycle, from 3 to 6 years) and primary education (from 6 to 12 years), with Catalan as the language of instruction.

The center develops various activities and projects throughout the school year. Among them, participation in the regional project "Descobrir per Estimar", aimed at connecting students with the local heritage of Ribera d'Ebre through meetings between schools; the Legiland project, focused on promoting reading habits and reading comprehension in the middle and upper cycles, with an expansion of the school library's catalog; and the INFADIMED program, centered on promoting the Mediterranean diet among students. Activities such as civil protection talks on emergencies and the use of 112, traditional celebrations like the Day of the Mona, and storytelling sessions are also organized. The center also participates in reading aloud competitions and conducts outings to the natural environment, such as a visit to the Parc Natural dels Ports. The ZER holds an annual joint meeting that brings together students from the two schools that compose it.

Regarding the facilities, the center has made improvements to the playgrounds, incorporating wooden furniture in the primary playground to make these outdoor spaces more welcoming and functional.
