Institut Salvador Vilaseca

Institut Salvador Vilaseca is a public educational center in Reus that provides compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Its academic offer includes the four years of ESO and the Bachillerato stage, and students in third and fourth ESO can choose from various elective subjects. The center has its own organizational and management documents, including the educational project of the center, the linguistic project, and the organization and functioning rules, as well as instruments like the educational commitment letter.

Regarding facilities and services, the institute has laboratories, ICT equipment, and a space dedicated to robotics, as well as a cafeteria service. Among its projects are initiatives for academic and professional guidance. Family participation is organized through the school council, whose agreements are documented, and the parents' association of the center.

The center has a long historical trajectory and participates in external activities, such as the problem-solving competition Copa Cangur, in which students from different ESO courses have participated. It also works on research projects for Bachillerato, an area in which it has received recognitions, and participates in events recognizing students with outstanding results in university entrance exams.
