Escola Palau

Escola Palau is a public school located in Palau-solità i Plegamans. It offers Early Childhood Education, with the first (0-3) and second (3-6) cycles, and Primary Education (6-12), organized into initial, middle, and upper cycles. The center operates in Catalan, Spanish, and English, and provides a cafeteria service and extracurricular activities.

The educational project includes a digitalization plan in its second phase, aimed at the digital competence of students, teachers, and families. There are splits in English learning throughout the center, with encouragement of this language in Primary workshops and in Early Childhood Education environments. The teaching of mathematics in Primary is based on the proposals of the Projecte Innovamat. Environments are developed in Early Childhood Education and workshops by cycles in Primary, as well as robotics and computational thinking from Early Childhood to Primary. The center implements a fruit consumption plan and a common transversal project for the entire center. It also adapts its spaces, reorganizing tutoring, expanding classrooms for diversity support, and creating an environment for Early Childhood Education. Families participate in classroom activities, project presentations, local outings, and school parties, as well as improvement days for the playground. The center is part of the Escola Verda network and promotes the participation of green delegates in campaigns and activities for the protection of the natural environment and sustainable habits.
