Escola Montseny

Escola Montseny is a public center in Mollet del Vallès that defines itself as inclusive, cooperative, and entrepreneurial. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education (6-12 years), and has a school cafeteria service and a parents' association (AFA). The center maintains the Educational Opportunities Improvement Plan (PMOE), a measure from the Department of Education and Vocational Training aimed at students in situations of socioeconomic and socioeducational vulnerability.

Among its classroom proposals, students work on mathematical thinking and programming skills through PCMAT and activities such as mathematical mazes, where they program Codi Rockie to solve challenges. In sixth grade, the subject is approached through scientific experimentation with manipulative activities, and in fifth grade, students participate in the CUEME project, focused on entrepreneurial culture. In Early Childhood, phonological awareness is developed through experiential activities, and the center implements the English Day Project. The Early Childhood classrooms conduct art sessions where they explore various authors, such as Yayoi Kusama, Joan Miró, Lisa Ericson, and Maria Blanchard.

The center celebrates the Jocs Florals on the occasion of Sant Jordi, with literary creation work from Primary students, and organizes other activities such as an athletics day in which fourth-grade students participate, outings like visits to the Granja Hortus, and celebrations with families. It also has classroom blocks and uses educational digital resources such as XTEC, Edu365, ARC, Merlí, jClic, Linkat, Odissea, Àgora, Sinapsi, and Dossier.
