Escola Mare De Déu De Montserrat

Escola Mare de Déu de Montserrat is a public center for early childhood and primary education in Malgrat de Mar. It is a single-line school, with a family-oriented and close-knit character, where students, teachers, and families communicate and collaborate constantly around a common goal: the comprehensive education of the students. The center follows the motto "learning to learn" and offers early childhood and primary education, with a school meal service.

Throughout the school year, activities are carried out that connect students from P3 to sixth grade, so that the younger children in early childhood accompany the older ones, while the older students acquire habits of responsibility, commitment, and trust. The center participates in the Florence program, aimed at improving mathematical competence, and works with reglets in first grade. In fifth grade, research projects are developed, such as the one dedicated to cells and living beings. The school maintains a family association (AFA) and organizes open house days and an informational meeting for families within the pre-registration process.

The center has a website that gathers educational digital resources and its own documentation, including the linguistic project, the reading promotion plan, the educational project, the management project, the organizational and operational rules, the coexistence project, and the center's digital strategy.
