Agrupacion Escolar Europa

Agrupación Escolar Europa is a bilingual semi-private school located in the Villaverde district of Madrid. It is owned by Europa Villaverde, Sociedad Cooperativa Madrileña, a cooperative of teachers that manages the economic and human resources of the center. It began its activities in 1972 and has occupied its current facilities since 1986. It offers Early Childhood Education, with the first cycle (0-3) and second cycle (3-6, one line), Primary Education (6-12, two lines), and Compulsory Secondary Education (12-16, two lines). The languages are Spanish and English.

The center defines itself as an inclusive, non-selective, and non-competitive school that seeks for each student to develop their personal potential to the fullest and receive a good education to navigate society. The methodology is flexible, tolerant, and open, motivating students in the values of effort, respect, and discipline. The educational project is the management tool that lists and defines the center's identity traits. The guiding principles aim primarily at the comprehensive education of students as trained, autonomous, responsible, and supportive individuals. The bilingual project has prioritized the knowledge of English since 2010, with native assistants from the beginning of education. In Early Childhood Education, a good integration of the child with their tutor, peers, and the school environment is considered essential for learning. In Primary Education, an integral training based on respect and tolerance is sought, and in Secondary Education, study and work habits are developed to prepare for further studies. The organizational and operational norms prioritize values such as coexistence, respect, tolerance, and cooperation.

The center offers a dining service and 'Los primeros del cole', as well as a psychopedagogical office, extracurricular activities, and uniforms. It also provides a dining menu and celebrates a cultural week. The opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 to 17:30, and on Fridays until 17:00.
