About the school
CEIP República de Panamá is a public center for early childhood and primary education integrated into the Territorial Area Directorate of Madrid Capital (DAT Capital). It has classrooms for the first cycle of early childhood education, for ages 0 to 3.
The center offers a breakfast service or "first ones at school" from 8:00 to 9:00 free of charge, as well as free extracurricular activities from 16:00 to 17:00 that include reinforcement, playroom, hockey, basketball, soccer, and dance. It does not use a school uniform. It develops an English Language Expansion Project, with an additional hour of English to reinforce the contents of that area, and has its own project in the English language.
It participates in the Responsible Education program, focused on education and the emotional intelligence of students, and in the School Program for the consumption of fruits, vegetables, and milk. It is part of the PROA+ network, the School Gardens Network, and the initiative "Educate today for a more sustainable Madrid", and is part of the Educa en Digital program (Connected Schools).
