Fundacion Santamarca

Fundación Santamarca is a semi-private school in the Community of Madrid that offers bilingual education in English and German from preschool to high school. In the preschool stage, it has two proposals: Little Santamarca, with bilingual education in English for children aged 3 to 5, and Kinder Santamarca, with full linguistic immersion in German for children aged 2 to 5. The semi-private stage extends from 3 years old to ESO. The high school is bilingual in German and English and offers two modalities: Sciences and Social Sciences. The center also provides Basic and Intermediate Vocational Training programs, both semi-private, and teaches English, German, and French.

The center has its own educational project that articulates and guides the decisions and projects of the school, aiming to integrate the entire educational community. Its practice is supported by active methodologies and emerging pedagogies, along with ICT tools, and it has its own innovation department. Among its areas of work are continuous teacher training, emotional education and mediation, pastoral care, guidance department, internationalization, collaborative projects, parent school, robotics and artificial intelligence, creativity and arts, as well as sports, psychomotricity, and physical education.

The facilities include a library, sports hall, laboratory, computer room, auditorium, gym, and playground. It offers dining services, school transport, and extracurricular activities. The center has residences with a socio-educational project subsidized by the Community of Madrid, aimed at the comprehensive, emotional, and educational care of the girls and adolescents welcomed. It participates in Erasmus programs, with professional internships for students of Basic and Intermediate Vocational Training in Ireland, and organizes a bilingual summer camp (Sommercamp).
