La Milagrosa

Colegio La Milagrosa is a semi-private center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid. It offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle) and Primary Education, in Spanish, with English as a language. It is part of the Fundación Educación y Evangelio and follows the guidelines of its ideology, summarized in "being for others".

Its history dates back 75 years, when the Sisters of Charity, from Mallorca, arrived in the Vallecas neighborhood, which then had multiple needs, with the aim of providing help to the most disadvantaged sectors. They built a medical clinic and a school, both free of charge, and their work was not limited to the educational field: in the afternoons, a sewing workshop was held where girls from the neighborhood were trained in tasks such as embroidery, which also served as economic support for them and their families. The values that have given identity to the center are charity, simplicity, humility, and the gratuity of everything offered. Over the years, the school grew and adapted to changes, transitioning from a female center with religious staff to including the participation of laypeople.

In the educational field, the center addresses comprehension projects as an essential part of the teaching-learning process from Early Childhood to 6th grade of Primary Education. It has a cafeteria, with menus published periodically for families, and uses the Educamos tool for communication with families (circulars, class attendance, and report cards). It also provides information about the uniform and its sizing, as well as the admission and enrollment process. The center is affiliated with programs such as Ethics and Compliance.
